New Author Question, pending posts

Hi,

I've noticed this only once before but now I have several separate stories in the cue waiting for approval,

While the stories in question are marked 'pending', I've actually gotten 'views'? Only once did I get votes, they were skewed to unfavorable (but I'm not overtly concerned for my actual votes because frankly, I just want people to enjoy my work in either direction and help me become a better writer).

So does this happen? Should I worry about it or just slide around and ignore this?

The views you see while your story is pending are the Lit editors looking over your story. If you start seeing views pop up, that means they're coming up on a decision within a day or so to post it.
