Someone comes up with a plot and people usually pm the original author for a part in the story. Some are open to all, some to just one or a few. Online rp has less sex in it then the sexual rp section. Sexual rp more likely to be one on one. Browse a few story threads and you will get the idea.

Usually they pm the owner. Sometimes, they just ignore you, and act snide when you ask questions.
