New and interested in joining a story

Hi everyone!

This place looks like a really cool idea. How long has it been here? I would like to try my hand at writing in here.

Any advice is welcome, and I'd be happy to join an existing story to give you an idea of my writing style.

I currently have a crush on someone I am too shy to approach, so I was thinking that maybe someone would like to help me indulge a fantasy or two (or three, four heh) to help me 'warm up' , or just fuel the fire already there!

Anyway, I am really excited about getting started, so introduce yourselves OOC and let me know if you want to write with me, or if you have any words of advice.

Best advice I can offer is to find an open thread you like and jump in, or come up with an idea and start a thread. Tell what characters you are looking to join you and you will be off and running. This is a very friendly place to express yourself at and I am sure you will become an old pro-RPer in no time.

Well, a lot of threads here right now are closed... usually one guy and one girl writing a fantasy thread of some sort.
I'm glad you joined here though, it's just so wonderful to have new people come aboard and see what they have to offer. If you'd like, maybe you and I could come up with something.

I know that the Colony 5039 story is open and really just getting started and as others have already suggested read a bit of titles that interest you that aren't marked 'closed' and ask to join in when you find one or more that piques your interest.

As for fantasy exploration read my profile and PM if I can help you with the explorations. *BS and wink*

Thanks everyone, for the private messages and the public advice as well. I think what I will do at this point is read and get a feel for the stories and go from there. Thanks again!
