Meaning, corrupt, statist, tyrannical federal government cannot retry the defendants.

The court finds that the universal sense of justice has been violated.

White fucking privilege, no doubt. :D

Judge dismisses federal charges against Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy, who calls himself ‘a political prisoner’

This probably means next to nothing to most people here. I covered disputes between the feds and locals and local governments and my sympathies are strictly with the locals.
The federal guys were nice enough but they took their orders from Washington, and some of them seriously stupid from a local viewpoint.
It's a good thing the standoff didn't turn into a bloodbath. Both sides would have shared responsibility if it did.

The first thing that the Trump Administration should have done was disband every SWAT unit for every federal agency. Disarm all Federal agents that are not actual law enforcement. When and if you have a legitimate need to serve papers or arrest somebody that's what you have US Marshals for.

Yes. Years ago (1990s) there was a push for BLM field agents to be armed in Nevada and it created an absolute shitstorm in some circles. The proposal was shelved and I don't know what became of it. There was certainly no shortage of weapons for either side at the standoff northeast of Las Vegas.

And put the billions of rounds of ammo Obama sucked out of the economy to drive price up back into the market.

Some excellent insight on probable causes for Judge Navarro's blatant slap-down of the federal government's criminally unconstitutional actions regarding the entire Bundy(s) situation (note that this was written December 17, 2017):

Dan Love Now a Whistle Blower?
A Sad Day in The Bundy “Mis”-Trial

Also note that the author's "sadness" arises from finally fully realizing the criminally unconstitutional lengths his country's federal government will easily go to persecute and prosecute American citizens.

Since he won his case, subject to appeal by the Ninth Circuit Court, he probably doesn't owe the feds anything, but he might owe a lot to the state of NV.

I doubt if Al Bundy or King Kong Bundy owe the US gov anything.

I can't even begin to imagine the myriad of civil rights lawsuits Bundy & Co. have unarguable grounds for now against local, state and federal government. And if Attorney General Jeff Sessions has any natively true reverence for the Constitution, he will prosecute every government offender and make sure all the others in any unconstitutional way involved at all are definitely out of government jobs.

Drain this repugnant swamp.

Just read that link in its entirety. It is astounding that the only thing different between the ironically named FBI Hostage Rescue Team of the Waco and Ruby Ridge days and today is that they know to shred their documents that's the only thing that changed.

Given that HRC had direct involvement in decision-making for both Ruby Ridge and Waco if she had won the presidency we would never have found out about any of this. Her justice department would have simply stonewalled to the end of trial.

Of the 27 people involved in the occupation of the Malheur wildlife refuge, most have been found guilty of federal crimes and are doing time or awaiting sentencing.

Now the Bundys have been acquitted and walk free.

When those other guys get out, the Bundys had better watch their backs. We've seen this story before.

So you can't "get" them with malicious prosecution so you hope harm comes to them?

Why would those that risked their lives, honor, and fortunes protecting a fellow citizen turn on that citizen when actual justice exonerated them? Speaks to the kind of compatriot you would make. Not that we would ever be on the same side of anything.

Why would they be after the Bundys?

If anyone should watch their backs it would be the prosecutor/judge.

But occupying Wall Street is okay?

Huh. I guess you never heard of the Count of Monte Cristo, or any of the countless other similar tales.

Huh. I guess you aren't familiar enough with the story, the Bundys or their supporters to draw any recognizable comparisons at all with fictional characters.

To your credit though you've gone back to simple, mindless snark rather than actually trying to participate in discussions about subjects that you have no idea about. That works for you; I would go with that.
