Netscape problems

I am an avid IE user. Except, lit seems to hate my version of it.

So, a while back, I started using netscape for vewing lit. Well, I was having BIG problems with both IE and Netscape on a site I foudn for clothing. So, I DLed the newest version of Netscape. I was operating 4.7, and went to 6.1.


Now, the problem I am having is that all images, reguardless of type (ie bmp, jpg, gif, etc) all show up cartoony. The problem is that they are not showing all the colors, so the shades in real pics show up in the nearest color. This happened as soon as I DL'ed this version.

Anyone know how to switch it?

6.1 Is the newest version. I'm running it right now, with very few problems. Those being two sites don't like it. That's it.

Maybe try your View menu, going to Stylesheet and selecting "none".
Or Preferences in the Edit menu. Start with Appearance, going down to Colors. Make sure the check box for "always use the colors and background specified by the web page" is checked. If these don't help, I'm clueless.

Which version of IE were you using?

I use only IE.. and i have no problems viewing Lit..

Hubby uses NetScape.. and has so many problems with the new one, i'm thinking of shit canning it. Making him us IE.. or not use the web at all

I am not sure what version it is. The netscape fix didn't work. So far, no probs with Opera, though. Well, other then just getting used to a new browser.

Ok, now I am getting a glitch with Opera.

If I have looked at a thread, it will not show me the updated version when clicking on it again, unless I hit re-load.

There is an option for auto updates, but if I set it for anything sooner then 1 minute, it drives me NUTS!


Is there a place to make it auto update if I click a new thread?

Hey, hey! I love Netscape. I have very few problems with it. And it's fast. IE, however, blows great big chunks!

I just DLed version 6 (i think) from IE now. That has cleared up all problems with Lit so far, and no mess with reloading, and I don't have a problem with pics anymore. Hopefully this will work now!!!!
