No worries dearest, I shall explain. Cthulu isn't actually from roleplaying games persay, he is from a horror writer who wrote around the turn of the century. H.P. Lovecraft wrote many stories involving dark gods and powers, the most well known of which is Cthuilu. Cthulu is an ancient being who can drive people to madness with mearly it's site, it is best recognizable for being as tall as godzilla and having a squid for a head. They made a roleplaying book about this brand of horror called Call of Cthulu. It was quite popular and hence most tabletop RPGers have heard of him either from the game or from the books.

*sticks out tongue* Well, Mister Man, I'll have you know that I play the tuba too! So there! I happen to march it, have for 3 years now. I'll also have you know that tuba players love to do it 69 style. (I'll explain that later, if need be. ) I also played mallets last year in my high school's winter percussion group. So no being mean!

Lain is goooood. Well, at least from the first 4 episodes that I saw 3 years ago and didn't really understand at the time. I love the animation style though. It's much more real than a lot of other animes, which is what I love about it. I also became a fan of Boogiepop Phantom because of that (since, of course, it's the same animators).
