Hello Literotica Authors,

Revenge of the Nerd, in Romance. FMC is rich and snobby, MMC is autistic, they meet in college, stuff happens. It's not a sex romp, it needs to be said; it's a romance, with all the good and bad that entails. MMC is specifically average-ish to below-average. Kind of interesting both as a series and because the characters are both semi-observant Jews, which leads to some different framing than you normally get.
 
What constitutes a "nerd" story? And why does it have to be a guy? I have a story (published elsewhere) about a female mechanical engineer whose natural environment is alone in the materials lab. Not socially awkward, but the opposite, outside of the university setting tends to be over-the-top libertine.
 
Many of my stories include nerds as MC -- write what you know they say.

My upcoming Pink Orchid novel has a FMC who could definitely be characterized as a nerd. For most of the story, she's in a CS doctoral program trying to develop AI to make NPC's more realistic. Or as she put it:

I thought that was the whole idea of nerd stories? He's unsexy, unattractive and socially inept, and his massive cock is the only reason why the sexy women want to sleep with him, and he's clueless about what's happening.

Of course, I should have added, in this story, the nerd does get the girl. Or, probably more accurately, the girl gets the nerd, at least for a while. And then another woman does.

Nonsense, the point is that the nerd must hit the gym (if male) let her hair down from her bun and shake it out (if female) and completely change their aesthetic and personality until they are a totally different person and then become worthy of love and attention šŸ˜±

I did one. Socially inept dweeb 'hires' a girl that he's seen at the hotel he works at going into rooms with many men. She balks at first, but agrees to go to an event with him. They hit it off. Towards the end she quips 'the most respectable dress he ever saw me in was on our wedding day'.
