Nelson Mandela is NOT dead

Where's Throbbs? I've decided we need a cartoon of this :D

ummm...
well... I happened to come in to my office today....

so...gimme a moment.

I don't quite have an angle on this... as it was Bush who made the comment...
I am not much of a political satirist... and though Bush is amusing... he scares the crap out of me as a "leader". Politics are patently STOOOPID.

I am tempted to somehow tie in Miss South Carolina (or was it NORTH.... I don't have a map!)... and mention The Iraq... as that seems like something that Bush might say as well...but this is Chenney....hmmm

ROFLMAO! Thank you for honoring that request, Throbbs. I know it was a tough one, but it's hilarious!

Glad to be of assistance.
The only tough part was trying to make sense of the nonsense. So I gave up on that and just barfed up the first thing that came to mind.

Luckily, I had gone to the office for some real work.

(I'm home again, so no more drawings today... and probably none tomorrow)

I'm a South African and this is the funniest thread I have read in ages!!!

Bush is scary as hell - how long before the next election??

Bush decides when the next election is. He's the decider.

That depends.

A friend of mine at work made an interesting, if admittedly paranoid, comment a few days ago.

"If Bush can't get another Republican to be voted into the White House, he'll find a way to declare martial law and stay in office himself."

I laughed at the time, but . . . .

Oh. My. God.

I've been fiddling with a future history that I'm going to set a couple of stories in. One a sort of a 'For Whom The Bell Tolls' about a man who serves in an 'International Battalion' in the Second American Civil War. And a Georges story.

What triggered the Second American Civil War was the President declaring martial law. And about half of America said, "Fuck you!"

And since you'll ask, the same people won the Second American Civil War that one the Yugoslavian Civil War. Nobody.
