This party is open for a few couples in a quiet cul-de-sac. The party will be at my house, pool, sauna, jacuzzi, pool table, the whole nine yards. Of course, being single, I need a date. If you are intersted in joining this thread, leave a description about your character.

I would like to participate. My name is Jon Benson. My wife and I are in our early 30's, just moved onto to the cul de sac two months ago, and don't know the neighbors very well. I am 6'0 tall and keep myself in good shape by riding my bike. I am a lawyer and I am really looking forward to meeting new friends.
My wife is a very pretty lady who drives me nuts because she really flirts with other men. I always swear to myself that someday I am going to loosen up and flirt as much as she does so she knows how I feel. Maybe this weekend!

OOC: ya, Frank. I think the name is the same. This one will work out better then the last one, though. Last time, we had a few people making things difficult for everyone else. Anyway, my charcter is Ian. He's 6'2" and weighs about 190 pounds. he's pretty well built, as he played both football and basketball in high school. him and his wife are now in there late-20s. They have lived in the cul-de-sac for about a year and thought this would be a good way to get to know some of the neighbours. *Come on ladies!!! We need some wifes/girlfriends for this thread!!!*

Shaylyn has a faded beauty. She's pretty, but not perfect. She has long brown hair and bright green eyes and a petite frame. She is very shy. She doesn't talk much and is very smart. She's the type that lets her husband say everything for her, while keeping her dignity. She played basketball in high school but gave up the sport before college because she thought she'd have a hard time studying with all those practices. That's just the kind of person she is. She loves her husband more than anything and is very loyal and sweet.

IC: As I was driving down the street on my way home from the grocery and liqour stores, I slowed down in front of both Frank's and Jon's houses. i don't know why, impulse i guess. I pulled into the driveway of my own home, a beautiful two-story home I had bought last year for me and my wife. it looked very similar to all the houses on the street but I didn't care, I loved it.
I walked into the house and saw Shaylyn out on the deck preparing for the party. I love her to death. We decided to have this party because we realized that, even though we do talk to the neighbours once and a while, we don't really know them. Shaylyn took charge and organized the perfect party. "Hi Shaylyn," i said walking out onto the deck, "I bought everything you asked for, is everyone still coming?" All she could do was nod, as she held the cloth napkins in her mouth as she set the plates. I went inside to grab the knives and forks and saw my wife through the kitchen window. Even though she only played sports in high school, she still has a pretty athletic body. "Here's the knives and forks, I wonder how everything going at the other houses."

I stand in front of my closet naked trying to decide what in the world to wear. Strewn about me on the floor and bed are various articles of clothing - all discarded. We'll be meeting some of the neighbors, and although I know many of them by sight, I'm afraid I won't have much to talk to them about.
I hear Frank come into the room, relaxed and calm. He always is around people.
"Honey, what do you think I should wear? Shorts? Jeans?"

I was late getting home. It was already time for us to go to the party and I was just now pulling onto the cul-de-sac. As I headed for our driveway I saw a some of our neighbors headed for the party. Now what was their names, I had met them once, oh yes Frank & Jesse. They seemed very nice, and Jesse was a knockout. I waved, and gave them a smile.
I certainly hoped my wife was ready, and dressed appropriately, when I got home. I have the Tanquery & tonic, and she should have an appetizer ready. This should be fun, lets hope we fit in. We are really hoping to meet new friends and do new things.

IC: I check my watch as I hear the car door slam signalling Jon's arrival home, he's late again and I sigh as I check my make up in the mirror. "Hi, good day at the office?" I gave him a hug and kiss on the cheek "there's some food in the kitchen but you'll have to be quick ok honey"
I was looking forward to meeting some of the neigbours, it would be nice to talk rather than nodding hello as we passed in the street, maybe make a few friends.

I happened to glance out the window and saw Frank and Jesse making their way up the street. i also saw that Jon was just arriving home. I walked to the front door and opened it, greeting Frank with a hand-shake and Jesse with a innocent kiss on the cheek. I told them to make themselves comfortable in the living room and I'd get some refreshments.

Um....babydoll, in your first post you stated you wanted the part of A1Stories wife. He's playing the character Ian, the host. Frank is being played by Catlover, and is one of the neighbors. Unless I missed a post in there somewhere where you wanted to change from A1Stories wife to Catlover's wife?

After parking the car I hustled into the house and was met by Sandra. I looked at her appraisingly. As always she looked very good, wearing a skirt that really showed off her legs. Sandra has been my true love since law school, but now I probably don't pay enough attention to her.
"Sorry I'm late, but this case I'm working on is very important." I quickly changed cloths and came back downstairs to Sandra. "If you are ready my dear, we shall be off for Ian & Shayln's house." As we walked though the cul-de-sac I asked Sandra, "are you as excited as me to be meeting new friends?" "I think we should make an effort to meet everyone and try very hard to fit in with everything they do. Don't you agree Sandra?" (little did I know what the full meaning of that statement would be until much later that night.) With that I gave a quick kiss to Sandra and love pat on her bottom.
Shortly after ringing the bell we were greeted by Ian who in a very friendly manner invited us into his home.

Jon quickly got changed and we were ready to leave, walking to Ian & Shayln's we talked about meeting our neighbours. "It'll be nice to have some friends here, hopefully after this case you'll have a bit more time and we can relax and have some fun."
As we reached the door, he kissed me on the cheek and I smiled, I loved him but on occasion I wished for the old magic back. Maybe having a few friends would be just what we needed.
