Neighborhood Watch
Traffic was light on the beautiful spring morning as Doug Winters retuned home from the grocery store. The sun was shining and the temperature was rising though the 60s as he turned off the feeder road into the neighborhood entrance. Sierra Vista was not a gated community, but it was definitely on the upscale side of town. Quiet, peaceful and uneventful, it was a great place to live. The kind of place where you could live your life in relative privacy and anonymity. Passing through the fist stop sign, Doug could see a a tall slender woman with dark hair jogging along the sidewalk. He subconsciously let his foot of the gas to allow his truck to begin coasting and slowing, closing the distance to the unknown jogger. As he approached, he realized it was a woman he recognized. Not by name. In fact, he had never met her. But he had seen her. Oh yes he had. Many times in fact. She was quite the staple in the neighborhood and could often be seen running up and down the main thoroughfares or through the parks. Dave dipped his sunglasses to look over them and get a better look as he passed by. Her long lithe legs were moving in rhythm, setting a nice steady pace. Her nice round ass bouncing firmly. Her long dark hair tied in a loose pony tail swishing back and forth. Once passed, he instinctively looked up into the rear view mirror. Her sweat soaked tank top clinging to her perky, bouncing breasts. Dave looked up just in time to avoid bouncing off the curb as he smiled to himself and corrected his steering.
Dave was still smiling to himself as he turned down his street and pulled into the driveway at the bottom of the cul-de-sac. He hadn't dated much since the divorce five years ago. His wife leaving him for her boss at the advertising firm across town. So was not above smiling and secretly fantasizing about the sexy jogger as he began unloading the groceries. Clearly the groceries told a tale of a single man planning on a night alone. A single ribeye, baking potato, fixings and a six pack of beer. If only he had two steaks. Two potatoes. The dark haired woman joining him on his deck overlooking the woods behind his house. Yes. If only... Why couldn't he have a woman like that? He was a handsome man. Tall and fit for his age. And still attractive. He just never found himself in close enough proximity to any single women to attract one for a date. Much less anything more animalistic. At this point, he would have to kidnap a woman like that to have her. Now there's an idea. He could kidnap her. His smile returning. This was all nothing more than fantasy of course, but it was enough to keep him smiling as costed the door and headed into the kitchen.
