Maybe my story is in the wrong category?

The store has MFM threesome - but the two men are brothers - and there's some bi-action between then during one scene. I have found similar stories in the "Loving wives" category, so I put my story there, too. Perhaps it belongs somewhere else?

(Plus - one commenter pointed out I mis-spelled a word IN THE TITLE. Damn.)

Definitely in the wrong category

Even though it is posted on Hallowe'en, in that particular category I agree with commenter Mongo837: "The gay incest thing was beyond disturbing."

I guess you see Gina's decision to try for a baby with his brother as the act of a Loving Wife, yet there must be other ways to become impregnated than the activities described? You will probably end up with page after page of abuse - switch off comments or repost the story requesting change of category. I see only one Anonymous so far, but expect that to change.

I did have to laugh at the one that said: "What a bunch of truly sick MFer's ... the whole family would be prime candidates for retroactive abortion" by 'Chagrined'!

You put a story in Loving Wives?

Oh.

You're going to get lots of negative comments. Some of the readers over there feel that Loving Wives = Faithful to One Man wives and when your story veers out of that, boom goes the dynamite.

Still, with the two guys being brothers, I'd have put it in Incest because of the squick factor.

Maybe my story is in the wrong category?

Yes. "Loving Wives" is the wrong category for your stories, my stories, for Ernest Hemingway's stories, for any story ever written. Never post anything there.

The problem is this: there's no "Cheating" category on Literotica. So, because of the Exact Words "adventurous married women", some people put their cheating stories in LW. This, as favoritesgoddess identified, causes friction with the other demographic LW caters to: the hardcore loyalists who only want to see a husband and a wife getting it on with each other.

And this has been going on for years.

Long story short, if you post anything in Loving Wives, everyone will hate it no matter what it is. Take "Romeo & Juliet": half of the audience will flame you because R&J aren't married until Act 3, and the other half because she doesn't cheat on him over the course of the story. So the smartest thing to do is never post anything there ever.

I hope this has illumined you. =)

And they are both under 18.

Thanks for the feedback...

I've already submitted an edit - to fix the misspelled word in the title - and to move the story to the Incest/Taboo category.

I'll update the comments after I see the edited version posted.

Thanks again,

Anything MM on this Web site is best put in Gay Male (and usually the editors will put it there even if the author doesn't).

One of the main problems in our society is that it's okay for women to get butt nekkid and do smutty things with each other, but it's totally not okay for men to do the same thing.

Lesbians are chic, gay men are gross. Just ask the average avowed hetero out there.

Personally? I think lesbians are chic, but only if they're completely clothed and non-smutty. We can hang out and talk books, math, global politics, and why we're just so not ready for anarcyh. Women on women is icky. Now, men on men, that's a whole lotta hot.

I used to think there needs to be a bisexual category to make life easier for the gay male situations that have women involved, but then I realized there is one, it's called group sex! If you've got a threesome with different genders and they're not related, try group sex. If you've got people who are related involved, incest is usually a good place to stick it.

Something that seems to work for people who have cross-category stories is to put a note at the top that explains the kinks that might be found in the story so that someone may back click without being disturbed by their own bigotry and the author doesn't have to tolerate a lot of ewww! you put {your freaky kink that doesn't hit my freaky kink buttons} in the story! I'd give you a negative number vote if I could! Well, you'd still get that, but you could point and laugh because you warned 'em.

People with freaky kinks think that other people with freaky kinks are disgusting perverts.

No, not Group. Anything at all including MM does best in GM. You should be able to trust me on this. I only have some 350 MM stories on this site.

I thought the squick factor of incest trumped gay male? No?

Where's my flowchart again?

No. You put an MM (e.g., father/son) in Incest, and your story will be torn limb from limb and you'll have to change your e-mail address.

Trust me. If it involves a male on a male, it gets the least bad reception in Gay Male.

I feel another challenge coming on...

I can totally believe you. It's totally wrong, but yeah, that's reality.

I'm going to go sulk rather than preach about the idiocy of Puritanism. Who needs more preaching?

What would Loving Wives do if hubby walked out and set up with a guy?

Hmmm. I could try that. The last time I tried to turn Loving Wives on its head, though, I got a Green E. You can believe the hissers in LW didn't like that.

One of the saddest truths out there.

Except the sadder truth: that a lot of people with freaky kinks think perfectly normal, vanilla homosexuals are disgusting perverts.

Despite our differences, I like your writing, and this is surely waiting for a tilt that I certainly couldn't write.

She plays away whilst he is flying Chinooks in Helmand. The floor dribblers cry out for stoning and get themselves constipated when the hero returns with a conscience and a male Seal and you find the wife was playing away with a woman.

I started this but wasn't happy with the result. The plot bunny is all yours, if you want. It would shock the LW regulars.
