...and can't find the answer anywhere. I have a question about contests. Does Lit care if the story you enter into a specific contest, like this Halloween one, is posted on another site?

This is really something you should PM Laural about. However, my take on it is:
Anything posted on Lit is Copywrited Material. You, as the author, own that material and the Copywrite. Therefore you can do anything you want with it.
This question came up several years ago. That is my rememberance of the ruling.
