My wife has been toying with the idea of having sex with another woman. She has a bit of a crush on Gwyneth Paltrow. Now, part of me is really turned on, and part of me isn't sure? My one fear is that she won't think the world of me any more if she "gets it" from another woman.

I can understand why you are worried but I wouldn't. I discovered that I was bi about 3 years ago. I had never been with another woman, oh sure I had thought about it like most of us but had never taken any action in that direction. Then I had my first experience and I found that I enjoyed the touch of a woman...she was more gentle in a way that men can't be. She knew without me telling her where it felt the best and what I would enjoy.

Speaking from a woman who discovered very early on that she was bi, I'll tell you that I am more or less right now the middle now at the ge of 23. There was a time in my life when I had been only attracted to females, but growing up I was told that homosexuality was wrong and evil and a sin. So, I forced myself on guys. I figured that if I was "fooling around" with them, too, then I wouldn't have to stop with girls. I think I have always been more attracted to women, but yet I've been with more men. Hee hee hee...

My wife is also more interested in being with a butch women than a Feminine woman. She says that butch women are more intriguing to her. Is this common?

If it weren't common, then there would be no dykes/butches. I, however, am attracted to any "type" of woman, be it butch or femme.
