If this is genuine wouldn;t you do better to go read some stories, find the ones you like and then approach those authors individually to see if they'd be interested?

On several levels this is difficult.

a) Getting a book of short stories published is beyond difficult unless you are Steven King.

b) Where is the contract? What are the royalties? What about the advance?

c) If you get yourself mixed up with some scumbag publishing company that requires fees for editing, artwork, etc., who pays for that? What about the costs if you get hooked up in some "self-publish" debacle?

d) Most importantly, why don't you write your own stories?
