a twist on "keeping it in the family".

After a few generations of interbreeding, the family realizes that the genetics require some refreshing, so a brother and sister , he 20, her 18, are assigned to find new mates outside the family(brother's woman of course to be shared).

Further twist is that bro & sis are very much in love with each other...

So they kidnap some people and lock them in the basement. Maybe the two captives fall in love, too.

I think there was a Criminal Minds episode where the guy was breeding women in his basement. That's a different idea...

The brother and sister dutifully go out and seek outside paramours. But, being secretly in love with each other, they always use strict birth control with their outside partners. When the sister finally gets pregnant, it is of course with the brother's spawn. The baby is born, and looks like a porpoise. It grows up to rule the family with an iron flipper.
