Perhaps, only I can screw up so many times on one thing.
I had written a piece entitled "Brighter Days" that had an offending pun in it. It was so overpowering, what little message I had in it was completely lost. A few had commented on it, leading me to see that it took off in a direction I did not want.

My intent: To submit what is basically a completly different poem with the same name "Brighter Days (Redone)" leaving the offending first one there. I attempted this because of the comments left( thank you, once again). It is tough to look at one's own work objectively. I read, sometimes I act on.
I then had second thoughts, and then tried to unsubmit.

The result: I did not know the first has been replaced with the second. Thank you for the email L&F. It has buried, where few will ever see it. I intend to work on this further (I am not happy).

Need to know:
1.) can this be done i.e. leaving 2 things up with same title, but showing one is new?
2.) how does one go about removing something?
Thank you in advance

Here is the new one, bottom three comments refer to something that is not there. Since it's there, wouldn't mind comments before I go back to it again. (it is that important to me)

I have a poem called Backdoor Folks. I wanted to try it from another perspective and have both poems up at once. So, the other is Backdoor Folks: New Perspective. You could try adding "new version" or "another version" to the title.
If you want to remove a poem, submit it again, with the same title but add (DELETE) to the title. That's how I do it. I don't know if there's another way, except emailing Laurel. I think submitting it again is faster.

thank you eve,
I shall go back to merely screwing up poetry and comments for now (why I like the thermometer, yet to have screwed that up)
you are the best_______(whatever you want)

I'll second that...<g>

hehehe

And...back to the subject...
I was wondering the same thing as I have a poem that got its format garbled in some fashion and would like to put it up as I wrote it originally, but leave the current version in place....

So, I could submit the corrected version and label it as a "Version 2" or similar and they would both exist?
