how can i totally delete my account?

You can PM Laurel and ask her to delete your account, but they often do not do that without a serious reason. The easiest thing to do is go into each of your posts and edit them to not have content. You need to have 5 characters in your post; most people edit their posts to something like “…..” or “deleted.” Then change your password to gobbledygook, copy and paste it into the confirm password box, and move on.

I think after you “delete” your comments but remember if someone quoted your comment the quote won’t be erased. You can send a message by writing a story asking for your account to be deleted.

Submit a story titled 'Remove My Account'

Fill in the required fields. In the text box, if you have any submitted stories, list the title along with the link to them.

The rest of the fields don't matter except the Note to Admin, where you ask very nicely to have you account removed.

Also, you will have to remove any post in the forums yourself, just change the text to ..... five dots. Do this before you submit the account removal or the post will be there long after you have gone to meet your maker.
