I’m pretty sure this is a romance story, and when somebody reminds me of the title, I’m going to kick myself for not remembering it.
MC owns a bar (I think), and he plays music in it frequently. One day a well-dressed woman comes in and sits and listens. MC thinks she looks out of place. At some point they end up talking. She’s getting out of a bad marriage. Later in the story, an older man (I think he may be in a wheelchair) comes in - I think I remember that he also plays. Other times the woman comes back with her two kids. She and the MC are falling in love. By the end of the story, they are together - the older man is her father. That’s about all I remember.
