Need help finding story don't know if I found it here on this site or another site I frequent
its in the same vein as Kita'thalla or Upon a Savage Shore

basically 2 ships are shot down one as a human pilot( i think he was a military mailman of some sort) and another was filled with feline-like aliens who were royalty and the only survivor was a princess

That's what I originally thought as well but the thing was Ka Hmnd stories is that they are short usually lasting 1 page 1-3 chapters this one was bigger
