Need help with genie story

I'm trying to write a story about a radio DJ having lesbian sex with a genie. The tone is probably going to be at least a little bit comedic. I'm having a hard time with the setup, though; I can't figure out how the DJ gets the magic lamp that has a genie in it. Any suggestions?

A fan bought it at an auction and sent it to station as a gift to the host because the lamp makes a beautiful sound when rubbed. Radio dj rubs it on air, off air things happen, at night shift.

This is good because it ties the genie and lamp to the protagonist's job.

The station owner is socially conservative so the protagonist hides the fact that she's a lesbian, and this creates problems when the protagonist suddenly has this smoking hot genie friend around her all the time. He gets suspicious about the relationship between the genie and the lamp. When genie is around the lamp is open but when she's not it's closed.

Antique shop. Yard sale. It could just be a knick knak for the studio but then strange almost distant sounds? Odor? Is that a wisp of steam coming out? Must be dust ….

DJ goes shopping in a store specializing in oddities called "Curious Goods" (OK, maybe you can't use that name as it's already been used) staffed by an old man, a young dude and a killer hot redhead named Mickey, many of which have hidden secrets or powers, some of them cursed.

How about the DJ collects old phonograph records? Maybe she plays them on her show, or maybe it's just because she has a thing for old recordings. But it means she spends lots of time at garage sales, estate sales, flea markets, etc. Where there is a very good chance she'll stumble across an old oil lamp or two.......

She does the collecting thing, but goes to a carnival, an carnival tinged with evil and an old fortune teller, a Gypsy Queen that sells goods ... goods with history. The lamp comes from there, an exhibit that was all their own when it was shown. But of course, it doesn't have to be a lamp. It could be an ornate bottle. But once she has the bottle, the show will never end and she'll be glad she could attend before it blows her head apart.

Everyone will want to see the show, because it's a dynamo.
