Need help finding story

I am sorry if this is the wrong place. The story is about a husband who fucks up along with his buddies. I can't remember if it was a bachelor party or something else but they definitely did wrong and their wives found out about it. The wives wanted revenge so they got together and decided to husband swap once. Each wife was assigned a husband but the main character never got his because his selected "wife" backed out. All of the wives and friends knew this but they all kept it a secret which or course blew.up. .does this ring a bell?.

Oh I have searched. Can't find it. Keyword searches and tags only work when what you search matches. Unfortunately I don't remember the character names just the general themes.

looking for a story as well

I'm looking for a story I can't remember the name or author for. It was quite long and starts out with a legless, one eyed, one fingered vet being plugged into a video game where he becomes this warrior. He finds out the "game" is real and the device they plugged him into is extra terrestrial. He ends up challenging dragons, championing peoples in the new worlds etc. He gets a new body. His girlfriend is a Dr who becomes a valkyrie they have a kid...its a bit messed up plot wise but still good

It was a good story, though the author was getting bogged down and burnt out I think. I would love to find it again and see if he/she wrote more or gave up.

The author's handle was Mad something...Madwolf/Maddog idk.
