I started reading this book long time ago, but I can’t remember the title of it.
It was really good, like the Game of Thrones and 300 all wrapped up into one. It had Spartans and giants and battles and kings. It was really epic, really graphic, really crazy stuff.
It had these crazy stories about monsters and lions and people, and about halfway through, it’s kind of like Harry Potter and Luke Skywalker with this prophecy baby with superpowers whose born and grows up to become this Superman-like superhuman person.
He assembles his own 12-person Avengers/X-Men-esque squad and then one of them decides to betray him after he buys the whole squad dinner.
Then he’s captured by the bad guys, but instead of fighting off the bad guys, he decides to give up and die after he’s been tortured.
It was a such a great book, but when they killed off the best character in it, I stopped reading it.
I have some time on my hands now, so I thought I'd try to get back into it, but I can't remember the title.
Anyway, little help?
