Need feedback on your webcam purchase

Before buying one I'd like to hear from owners with the brand you bought, video quality, horror stories, etc.

Logitech Quickcam.

Video quality isn't the best, but it's suitable for video 'meetings'.

The only horror story I've had is that the little swivel head popped up. Right now it's stuck in between two CD's on my CD shelf, so the head doesn't fall over.

Also, it didn't come with anything to help with PC mounting. It has a pretty balanced base, but if your monitor isn't flat it falls off regularly.

It's cheap, it's easy. It comes with MGI photosuite and video wave 3.

It's still kicking.

I have the Creative Webcam Go. Which is a "detachable" version of their Webcam 3, I think. It's been pretty good to me. It's picture quality is as good as any Webcam's I've seen in sunlight. With normal lights (I can't think of the word for a standard lightbulb right now).... colors aren't ideal. I haven't tried with a better style of lightbulb. - http://www.creative.com

I would recommend sticking to established brands. Logitech or Creative.

My boss uses the Logitech Pro 300 Cam, I think it's called. The silver one that has the stand and everything. http://www.quickcam.com

I bought the ClickSmart 310. While I have no idea what that means, and more importantly, don't care, I'm enjoying it a great deal.
