Need editor

I tried to find an editor using the search section. 4 tries and no luck. Fourth try I cc myself and nothing. Is it working?

I have two complete incest stories that need review. Word's grammar and spell checker were used. One story is long but it's an easy read. I do some technical writing profesionally, this is my first try at something else.

I found this type of writing hard but very fun. I was amazed at my end story, it exploded from my initial idea. I have another idea for a story that would be fun to collaborate with others to get different viewpoints of a group into the story.

I take criticism well, I know it' to make the story better. Anyone out there interested in helping?

There is a different forum, a few below this one in the general listing, for editors and requests for editing. This forum is generally reserved for feedback on finished, submitted work.

The difference between getting someone to read your work now, before you submit it, and later, after you submit it, probably feels very trivial from where you're standing, but the kind of help you'll get from an editor is very different from the kind of help you'll get here.

An editor will tell you "fix this, fix that. Change the wording here. Use less adverbs." Quick fixes for the most part.

We in the feedback forum will tell you things like "Your dialogue doesn't feel genuine and that stems from your characters having motivations that don't make sense." Stuff that's harder to simply fix. This kind of feedback is usually more helpful if you take what we say and apply it to the next story you write from scratch.

As AwkwardMD said, wrong forum. I suggest you go to the Editor's Forum, open the sticky on top "Available to edit ~~ June 2017" and contact someone who has posted there.

Which search function did you use? Yes, some of them haven't worked right for years.
