This is not a suggested name or names, but you can look at a ist of members of India's parliament and use the most common female names there. I did something like that a few years ago when I wanted two names of Filipino women. During a presidential electon, the incumbent's name was Gloria and a VP challenger's name was Loren, so I used those names. :)

Sacagawea. Oops, dang thought you said, injun nation!

The power of the net! Imagine what it was like years ago when authors (and students) actually had to research things? Now boom! Right there!
I had to go out and find a book of African names, and it was cheap and paltry and made no distinction between tribes or languages.

Google is SO MUCH my friend.

Didn't say it was a terrible thing just blows my mind. I am not much of a net surfer (yeah okay porn but that's different) and when I started writing I figured I would set my story in RI so I would not get stuck on anything like restaurants, cities, streets etc...

Then I decide to do a flashback that takes place in Chicago, so I go to google and type in Five star restaurants in Chicago. I was hooked!

They still have to research things unless they want to be spoon fed by someone else. It's just easier now, with goggle. Although you need to know how to winnow the wheat from the chaff when researching on the Internet. Much of it isn't vetted.

Well so far for me it's pretty much a case of "people, places, things" types of searches so not much for me to sort through. Although I have learned the hard way that wickipedia cannot always be relied upon.
