I've known this girl for about 2 years now. At first I just thought she was hot, but she was taken. Now shes single and we've been flirting pretty heavily. Anyway we've been talking about hooking up/going out she seems into it bigtime. She asked me to go to the club with her next week. And we set up to go to the movies friday night. Anyway friday night we both worked, but she came down with the flu so we rescheduled for tonight. Anyway I called work at like 8:30 and she was busy with a customer. So she said she would call me when she got off. I never got the call, and she didnt answer when I called her like 3 times. So I'm thorougly confused. Any ideas or interpretations would be appreciated.

Sometimes, there are misunderstandings, missed calls, and miscommunications, but most of the time, people who stand you up or don't return your calls are being deliberately sketchy. I think maybe you should back off and let her come to you at this point. If she does, great...but be prepared for more sketchiness. If not, let it go. Don't waste energy on someone who won't dedicate any of her energy to you.

Sometimes girls flirt because it's fun and they enjoy the mutual admiration game. And at the time you set up your date, it probably sounded like fun and she was into it. She might have had second thoughts later.
