Phones are for talking, nothing else. If you think of phones like those clunky old AT&T clunkers and treat it accordingly you'll be a lot happier with greater peace of mind.
My "smart" phone is stupid. I was much happier with my old flip phone. I now have my home service simul-ring my cellular on incoming calls. If I don't want to answer, I don't. They can leave a message on my regular service if it's that important. 99.9% aren't important at all, not enough to cause me to interrupt what I'm doing at the time.
As far as I-net service, I just don't care. Getting away from that BS is a stress reliever.
