I've been working on a tale that was kicking around in my head, demanding to be written, history about Christi from my Blackhawk Hall series. I'm working with an editor now, but we were having format issues because he works primarily from wordperfect, while I work in wordpad mostly, with jumps to word when absolutely necessary. I've switched over to rtf format so that we'll be consistant from now on, and thus eliminate this problem on the final chapter.
The format jumps were causing contractions to sometimes lose their apostrophes, quotation marks to go missing, words to wander off into the abyss, carriage returns to vanish, etc. I believe I've got them all straightened out, but it can't hurt to have a third ( or more ) set of eyes scan it to make sure everything comes out right.
The two chapters are around 5000 and 5500 words, with the third chapter not yet complete. These first two chapters barely touch on any sexual content, that is all in the final chapter of the story. I'll have to put a "skip ahead to track 3 for stroke" disclaimer at the top of this one when I post it here *laugh* It is set in my fantasy world, swords and sorcery and such.
Drop me a post or a PM if you're willing to give these two chapters a look-see. Any problems should be glaring, and are just getting by us because we've both read it too many times in trying to resolve the format issues, or because I messed it up in the process of converting it to a webpage *laugh*. It's uploaded on my webspace, so I can just send a link via PM to the story.
