if you are from the south and you say fixin too, instead of getting ready, is that dialect?

A regional variety of language distinguished by features of:

Vocabulary
Grammer
Pronunciation

from other regional vatieties, and constituting together with them a single language of which no one variety is construed as standard.

You have your grammer, fixin' too / getting ready

Vocabualy works in there.

If you compared southern fixin' to northern fixing you would have pronunciation.

So, is this dialect?

You tell me. :)

Teachers are assholes.
