I think American news does not care, for the most part, about the war going on inside of Mexico. I believe that the majority of Americans would rather cast the Mexican immigrant into the light of the lawbreaker and bad guy than that of refugee. Murdered priests and students and government officials covering up crimes for cash screams 1980's all over again.

The news roboreaders have not been given anything that could upset the lowest common denominator racists. Compassion and empathy are not hallmarks that you would expect from a racist.

There will be much gnashing of teeth, and a great wailing sound will be heard, when driver's licences are given to undocumented immigrants.

The racists do not understand that this might be an opportunity to track the connection between activity in the USA, and deaths in Mexico.

I fervently hope that something is starting to brew in the USA, that might make a difference in Mexico.
