as fuel prices rise, which i don't care about, it'll cost $50 to travel to buy $100 in food that will fit in a backpack. will you walk? maybe the obesity rate in lazy gimme gimme america will drop. me worry living in BFE? no, got it covered with a horse.

What will you do after you eat the horse?

don't have to. i can hunt , fish, gather, and grow a garden (heirloom seed). even dropped about 400 pounds of deer meat this past season. gave away about 200 of it to neighbors and family. and those two bears were damn good eatin.

and the last bit o deer i have this june will be good BBQing on the grill as i toke a bowl full of bud.

All well and good...but is that a sustainable lifestyle when millions flee the collapsing cities, overrunning your lands? The deer would be gone in weeks.

It's the paradox of the survivalist....the rural retreat only works when society isn't actually disintegrating.

Do you grow the weed, or do you have to spend $50 to but $200 worth of that?

grow my own. more than half the county where i live is national forest. you lose a few to the eye in the sky, but its all good. they feel good finding a few, i feel good knowing what they didn't find.

most of the city fucks will be shot at. and driven off. they will go for the cows first. but us country bumpkins got plenty of ammo. most of em couldn't figure out how to hunt deer if you drew em a map. we'll have plenty of time to get ready while they loot stores and such and hunker down for awhile with what they got and the military and cops are shooting a bunch. thins the herd.

Here the deer stand around in the little patches of woods that are still left. They also hang around the side of the road to dine on the grass.
Not hard to find.
