NDE changes priest/pastor

A priest/pastor has a near death experience and when he wakes up, he has a different outlook on what he's teaching, especially about carnal desires. Before it was a trip to damnation if one let list into their hearts but now, as long as it's consensual, what's wrong with sharing love?

With this new outlook, he begins tending to his flock in very unorthodox manners.

Could be more fantastical (where he has powers from above or below) or more mundane but the story should be about him encouraging relationships both romantic and sexual regardless of orientation or taboo (as long as they're 18+).

For example, if priest, maybe he is the principal at an all girls school. A girl gets sent to him for not paying attention. He gets her to reveal it's because she keeps having sexual thoughts about the sister teaching the class. He congratulates her on being open with him and promises to talk with the sister to see if something can be worked out. By the next day, the student and the sister are in his office pleasuring each other.

Or if reverend, daughter/stepdaughter has become more rebellious and distant following his near death experience. He sits her down and she admits feeling like she was going to lose him made her realize what and who she wanted in life and that includes her parents in every way.

Reverend comforts her and by the end of the night, the whole family is bonding.

Having had my own near-death-experience I can say that the change is not always so radical as it is often imagined. A long period of reflection and self-realization, doubt, and questioning sets in.

At first, he recognizes his own yearnings and desires for members of his flock - the busty young widow, the spirited captain of the high school cheer squad, the plain jane married mother of four who seems so neglected. But he justifies it as not just blatant lust, but a desire to also fulfill their desires as each one seems so unfulfilled. It has always been his mission to guide others to the passion of the Christ, to allow them to fulfill their needs, based on who they are. Now he turns his ministry into one of sexual fulfillment, open-minded intimacy, of transcending borders of socially imposed sexual oppression.

He starts with the widow and slowly works his way through the congregation. The widow, he discovers has unmet sexual needs, but has a secret eye on the plain jane's husband. While he sets the two of them up, he meets with her, realizing that she is struggling with lesbian desires that she suppresses. So he invites the young cheerleader to join them, figuring the youth of today are more open minded, and she is.

He is able to allow each of his church members to find and fulfill their own sexual desires, without oppressing them, without hiding them. The husband openly sits with the widow, but the wife doesn't mind, as she is with the cheerleader, and on and on...

As someone who has had an NDE and is capable of writing from the male perspective perhaps I can help you.

Other commenter is right, after the NDE you aren't even aware of the change in yourself until you reflect. Allow me to give it a go. I can shoot the story to the fellow above and he can edit it to make sure I write the male perspective accurately.

Must it include incest? I simply can't seem to....vibe with that part. You want this guy to be like a Priest and Cupid/Facillitator hes more a middle man connecting the characters with their desires. More as an overseer, a voyeur. less as a participant in the encounter?

Shame. He's the most powerful in the story but he doesn't get laid? If you can clarify this stuff, lmk.
