ATTENTION ALL

lol, hehe.

I have decided to create a comic//book about a superhero. I'm intending it to be set in small one occasionally two story arcs ect ect, and the way i see it is that the first 'volume' is going to be done like the first season of the Batman (by which i mean the recent show, with the weird yet good version of the joker lol).

Unfortunately despite my writing ability, my character creation leaves room to be explored, and as such I have a request of you all.

Could you all please Create A Villian and or A Supporting Character...(Or Ideas for such), so I can establish a rogues gallery for my Character, as well as other good characters like Cops ect..

Please no other superheroes though.

Here is a Brief rundown of the Hero so Far…

> Nathan ‘Nate’ Crowe
> The son of 2 cops who died while on duty
> Raised by his Uncle (A Scientist / Inventor)
> His Uncle also Murdered when Nate is 24, Leaving him too care for his 16 year old crippled brother, Malcolm
> Uses his uncle’s experiments and Invention to become KNIGHT-CROWE.
> The Powers he has as a result of his gadgets include flight, increased strength and armour.

NOTE: Ideas given are thankful, and Credit will be given, though money will be paid to characters I decide to use, when they appear, and at a cost of my choosing (Trust me, I won't be stingy...) ALSO NOTE: That the above is only relevant if the book/story/comic gets published. Alternatively, I may simply by the right to the charcter from you, ect ect...it's all open to discussion

IF you are willing to help, you can either, put your ideas on this thread or PM me, I don't care which.

Thankyou.

What is real in this world and what general direction do you want to go? There is a world of difference between who you'd make for a Batman villian where Bane and Mr. Freeze are considered powerhouses, what you would do for X-men where Bane and Freeze would be middle of the road or even week, Superman where those two are generic henchmen and laughed at.

It sounds like you're kind of going in a Batman-esque direction (which I think is a bad idea but to each his own) but I would like to know a little more about the world he inhabits before I could really go about creating for it.

Well there are supowered beings in this world, and my versions of Mutants are slowly being born (theres is about one for every 100 Million people.)

I would says its batman esque (times 2) as I intend after a while for the main character to actually develop a super-power.

As for world itself, its basically a DC standard, heroes do exist in that universe, but they won't feature for a while as i want the focis to be on him.

I hope that helps...

I just remembered though....NO MAGIC!

If you think it could help, come up with a list of questions about the world/story that could help you..i'd fill it in...and maybe it could help others aswell...

Bethany Black
AKA: Nightmare.

Cute goth chick, possible romance for Mr. Crowe.
Full of life, and up beat girl, but she's hiding her mutant power from the world.
Try as she might though, her power manifests some times against her will. She subconciously reads the fears of others and makes them real, autonimous entities/objects, or whatever else is the source of the 'victim's' fears. She doesn't want to be a villain, but teeters this precarious line of acceptance/rejection of what she does.

Oh, and might I also suggest that although the nameless uncle created these gadgets, Malcome could also be a genius with electronics. *That is if his disability at least allows him upper body movement. So, Malcolm could stumble upon Nathan's secret, promising to keep it, if he is allowed to help maintain, and upgrade the goods.

2 things...

1) Love the character.

2) That was my plan, except Malcolm was intended to help from the start as a kind of...Oracle type character lol...oh and you'd later discover that he is a technopath...

ANYWAY

KEEP UP THE IDEAS PEOPLE! I Currently only have enough for two stories..i need more characters!!

C.omputer

What was to be Nathan's uncles ultimate gift to the world turned out to be one of Knight-Crowe's worst enemies. Essentially a sentient computer based on nano tech, so it has no real substance. They can drift from place to place, infecting electronics with its sentience. Now here is why it wouldn't just send itself like a plague all over the world. Its 'mission' its purpose for being is to 'train' Knight-Crowe, by being 'villainous.'

It developes ingenius plots that the Knight must figure out on occasion, not constantly, but always frequently enough that your comic never has to have lulls. Don't know what to do for an issue? You can always go back to HAVOC. ;)

It keeps its eye on him by constantly shifting and placing DRONE subroutines in electronics around Crowe. Malcolm could come up with some sort of device that could detect them though. But HAVOC being HAVOC would probably eventually negate such a device, forcing Malcolm to have to occasionally upgrade the detection devices.

Diagnostic
Recon
Operative
Non
Entity

Imagine being on the subway and the kid across from you is playing his nintendo DS when you pass the pen size detector across the kids hand held, only to find that the damn thing is a DRONE, watching you. Do you snatch it away and break it... Or what? LOL!

Its like having an agent watching you. LOL!

Again...I like it....I'm thinking that Havoc could possibly be a Arch nemesis....

More Characters, More Lol.

Disciple
Real name: Vincent Cordige III

A student of theology and mythology of ancient cultures that went insane after recieving and watching a video tape of his family being mutilated by a serial killer.

His family: wife, two daughters, and one son.

He believes himself to be the 'vessal of the gods,' able to call down the deity's spirits to enhabit his body, so that he might punish the wicked. In actuality, he simply has the ability to shape change.

Name: Ken Kusanagi
Alias: Excaliber

Personality: Cold and completely amoral Kusanagi is a mercenary in the truest sense having almost no actual more compass he takes whatever course of action he deems to be the the most profitable, which can mean things other than money. He always keeps his word to the best of his ability, even if honoring a deal is no longer in his best interest.

He never kills unless it is specifically required to further his goal, or he feels his life is directly threatened. He will go out of his way to make certain unnecessary blood isn't shed.

Powers: He is a master martial artist and highly trained in the use of fire arms and explosives making him a deadly opponent. He has a mild brain defect that allows him to work out extremely complex equations in his head. In combat this equates to a quasi-magical effect as he is able to (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uWmFQN3u6Gk) figure that out, with bullets on the fly.

Brilliant thats 5 villians and one support staff, chuck in two other ideas i like...thats roungly 7 stories so far...I'm aiming for 12 in the first volume alone....but that doesn't mean, stop creating villians lol.

No he can't dodge bullets. But he's great at not being there in the first place. If you ever watched Batman the Animated series he's kinda like Clock King plus a rube goldberg machine in combat. He's able to know that if he shoots out the tires on that car behind you it will hit the water hydrant which will shoot into the air and knock a potted plant onto your head. And it just makes sense to him. He can only of course account for your most actions so much. The longer you give him in an area (and the more stuff there is to play with) the more dangerous he gets. A fight with him on say a busy freeway would be like commiting suicide, but a fight with him in an empty stadium wouldn't.

You could use a few more supporting characters then, huh?

How about this...

there's a meteor shower in your city one night, and one of the meteors crashes through the roof of your house, all the way down into the basement. You recover it, and Malcolm does some studies on it, and finds out that there is something alive inside it...

Build interest over several issues, have Malcolm make slow progress in finding out what it is. Only to have it hatch into an alien creature, much like a miniature dragon. *Cough cough, lockheed* LOL! Only its not quite as cute, and can communicate better.

It would make a reasonable companion, but perhaps, to cast a bit of a villainous pall upon it, just by its being on earth, its like a beacon for others of its kind, calling them without even knowing it, and the others of his kind arn't so nice. ;)

Name: Damian Tremayne

Alias: Big Shot,
Race: Black
Height 6'7"
Weight: 276 lbs
Hair: Bald
Eyes: Blue grey
Age: 50's

Personality: In X city, Damian is the kingpin, the big boss. He's at his heart a business man and has very little interest in taking risks or in personally fighting perfering to send thugs to handle his work whenever possible. He favors illegal weapons, drugs and human slavery as his favorite crimes.

He would view Nate as a mixed blessing, doing his best to manipulate him into handling his work when he could. (example: A rival gang is starting to sell drugs in downtown. Once Damian figures out when the shipments come through maybe some of his guys break into a nearby jewelry shop.) He would try to corrupt Nate as well.

Powers: He's manipulative, rich and ruthless.

Thats a pretty cool concept Sean.

Did you use that in a thread one time?

Cause either I'm having deja vu, or I recognize it from somewhere...

The chain effect one.

The one about being able to damn near see in to the future? I'm using it right now in Zombie Apocalypse. I think it's a great power cus it's cool, and it can pretty much even out any fight without being complete bullshit.

How about if one of the people Nathan's parents helped *IE: Got off drugs, or stopped from commiting suicide, or something like that* who owns and runs a bar for transexuals needs help to keep Big Shot from closing his/her bar down?

I know, its kind of out there, but if you're shooting to make this an independant comic, its the kind of thing that could hook some cult *Open minded* fans.

One shot encounter: Sewer zombies.

Nice and gory, rip the head and spine out, and they still come crawling kind of shit.

LOL!

Could be a HAVOC plot. Nanoprobes bringing them back to 'life'

Can we have the US government be good (or at least kinda neutral) for a change? It's one thing that's always irked me about comics is the downplay/villification of the US government in specific, government in general.

I'll give two cases but there are plenty more. Project Cadmus from DC. How many times have a handful of of super beings taken over, or nearly taken over the world and the US government is STILL considered evil because they are actively seeking out ways to defend themselves.

The sentinels of Marvel. How powerful is Magneto? Storm? Hell even Wolverine and Mystique could do a lot of damage very quickly. Still the Sentinel project is linked and associated with blind racism and are just an evil tool. The only time they aren't evil is in Bizzaro World (Age of Apocalypse) where they are used to defend Europe against Apocalypse.

But in a world full of super humans, what IS the government to do? I mean, they are really stuck in a no win situation. They can't just leave super beings alone, they can't control them, they damn sure can't attack them without retribution. Any way you look at it, the government has to make a stand, and no matter what stand they make, someone, somewhere will see them as evil...

All good ideas, and i do overall choose to make the US government good...they still want to look after themselves, but they actually go about it more carefully....

Thankfully though, they won't be coming in much apart from one episode, until volume...3 or 4 lol.

I'd prefer human supporting cast now...as i've already got a robot and his mutant brother... Maybe a couple of cops who he bumps into every so often or something.
