It's that time of the year again and the highlight of the season is upon us!

I was extremely shocked to see Mash burning the Heat even after Mourning managed to recover from his kidney trouble.....but I think it's just because he wanted to prove a point. Will he be as effective in later rouds? Perhaps.

Iverson's come up big to give Philly a 2-1 lead....it would be a shame to see Miller go out so early though, especially after his 40 pt performance the other day.

Toronto take the series back tied at 1-1 and two games at home, GO RAPTORS!

Any thoughts people?

I'm with ya on that....I think the Mav have got some great players, especially one of my favourites (Michael Finley) and it would have been a real shame if they capitulated so easily.....at least now we have a series on our hands, even if the Jazz are still faves to win!

The Jazz make me so angry. Karl Malone should get an Academy Award for the acting job he pulls at LEAST 5 times a game. At least he has nothing to worry about upon retirement, Hollywood will welcome him with open arms.

The Jazz play dirty. I think most people, outside of Utah, have learned to hate them.

The Mavs are great. Finley, Nowitzki, Nash, all of them are just decent people who love to play basketball. I wish they would win the series. Dallas fans are some of the most critical in the states. Dallas fans are rarely happy with anything less than a championship. I just hope they will realize how great this year was for the Mavs.

Strangely I don't destest the Jazz that much at all. I have great respect for Malone, and as for the elbows and the acting, I think it's not all one way traffic.
Sure the Jazz play dirty, but they play some great bsaketball as well.

Much as I admire the Mavs I just can't see them winning the series. I think the Jazz are way to experienced to let this one slip, although if the Mavs pull it off it'll be real exciting!

Any thoughts on Minnesota? Surprisingly they pulled off a win today against the Spurs....I think it's time for KG to take all the hype and prove what a great player he is. Otherwise he's never gonna be anything better than a good player.

i don't root for basket ball until they go down to a 45-60 minute game. 3 hour games are boring.

You should become a soccer fan. 90 minutes, guaranteed :)

Maybe on american or other nations tv stations, canadain tv draws sports games out much much, much to long.

I have a friend who plays for the T-Wolves. He's injured this year. He has always been plagued with injuries. I think that was a huge thorn in his career unfortunately.

I like them, but I'm a Texan. You know I have to be rooting for the Spurs. D. Robinson and T. Duncan are 2 of my faves. I've been watching Terry Porter play since his days with Nellie and the Bucks. (I really liked the Bucks when Nellie was there).

God, I know way too much about sports for a chica.

I think the difference to the Spurs this year has been the addition of Derek Anderson. His explosiveness really brings a new dimension to the team and they've been much more exciting to watch since he's been there :)

I loves Vince, I loves Oak, I loves the JYD, I loves AD. I loves the RAPS!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOO

On the Jazz-Mavs thing, I think its a shame a classy guy like John Stockton will retire without a ring.

I hear ya man, GO RAPTORS!!!!!

Does anyone know if Stockton and Malone are gonna retire now? Or play on another year?

I'm not sure. I think Stocks will hang em up but the Mailman looks to be going strong.

Raps over 76ers in 6.

Pretty optimistic! To be honest I think we have a better chance of beating the 76ers than the knicks but i'm not making any predictions though...after all this is the playoffs and all bets are off!

Raptors trail by 3 with 5.46 left but have the initiative....already hauled back a 16 pt deficit....aaargh so exciting!
*biting nails*

Goddamit!

Aw shit, the series is now tied at 2-2
Charlotte won today to take even things at 2-2 as well
The mavs win to make it 3-1....although it seems almost impossible that they will come back from 3 down though
