That reminds me of the geek guys who always want to play the freakin' Paladin in D&D. All that self-less goodness makes my teeth itch because underneath I figure it's the ploy of the passive agressive and whiney.

No shit??? Maybe we're related. I only ever played one full game. I was a half-orc/half-elf assasin posing as thief and cook for our merry band of travelers. I was quite helpful throughout the quest and at journey's end I poisoned them all thereby earning myself a place in the Bagdad Bullies assasins' guild which was my main goal all along.

No one but the DM was pleased. He thought I was a riot. The guy whose Paladin I killed was really, really pissed off.
