Quiet and sophisticated. That always makes me think of Johnny Depp for some reason. I like your descriptions of this teacher though. They're very believeable; much like in acting (I do lots of that) the character must be believeable.

Ah, yes. Being of Irish and Scottish desent I should know. Way back when men wore them in battle.

Well to me, although I know it would be taboo and alot more interesting if it WERE a nun but to be honest with you I haven't met any nuns in my life. From what I have seen they kind of creep me out and in not the good way.
