pillar of political wisdom Henry Kissinger has said...

"the former US Secretary of State, described the crisis as “the gravest in the Atlantic alliance since its creation” and insisted that Washington should not back down."

Nice one Henry...

Should someone whisper in Henry's ear...

that the Turks persecute the Kurds with as much fervour as Saddam does?

No, because Kissinger can never hope to be as wise as ppman.
Besides, those Kurds have weapons of mass destruction. Have you seen those catapults they've devised that can throw dead goats diseased with anthrax over 200 yards?

Most people are wiser than Henry...

His only ace is that he licks a lot of Presidential arses...

Remember his domino theory?

Well it didn't happen did it? So thousands of young Americans died because of some half-wit immigrant who had the ear of a President...

Now he's telling America to stand firm against the dissent in Europe over Nato protection of Turkey. And Bush will do what he says because he just loves sycophants...

Geez pp, misquoting and asscribing so early in the AM? Actually it's a little later over there isn't it?

For the record, the Donimo Theory as applied to Indo-China was first used by President Dwight David Eisenhower in a news conference in 1954. Henry wasn't an 'advisor' at that time. Hell, he was probably still in school..

" Q. Robert Richards, Copley Press:

Mr. President, would you mind commenting on the strategic importance of Indochina to the free world? I think there has been, across the country, some lack of understanding on just what it means to us.

The President.

You have, of course, both the specific and the general when you talk about such things.

First of all, you have the specific value of a locality in its production of materials that the world needs.

Then you have the possibility that many human beings pass under a dictatorship that is inimical to the free world.

Finally, you have broader considerations that might follow what you would call the "falling domino " principle. You have a row of dominoes set up, you knock over the first one, and what will happen to the last one is the certainty that it will go over very quickly. So you could have a beginning of a disintegration that would have the most profound influences. "

See? Kissinger can't even say the theory was his, though he didn't say it wasn't...

Don't forget... they're ALL half-wit immigrants.

America is not so much the home of a great civilisation as a collection of rural peasant worlds displaying hybrid vigour in their transplantion from the old continents.

No such quote exists. That's pretty low pp. Even for you. More "Lancian" than anything else.

Peasants doing better than intellectuals on the World's stage.

That speaks volumes about intellectuals, eh Ish?

Yes, I'm sure your 16 million poor and the 40-odd% of your citizens who have no medical insurance are pleased as punch and all think you're "doing better".

The Great Experiment has failed.

Yeah, he isn't very coherent when he has to form his own opinions without googling and then rewriting.

errrm, what are the percentages of poor for Europe?

Be careful when casting aspersions, sometimes they might come back and bite you in the bum...;)

Is a lack of health insurance the ONLY thing you can come up with as evidence that America is failing??? Since when was health insurance a right? Since when was it even of paramount importance?

As one (four if you count the husband and the kids) of the 40% of people who are uninsured, I can still say I think we're 'doing better'.

I can't remember the last time someone walked onto my kid's school bus with a bomb taped to him... can't remember the last time someone was assassinated in a hotel lobby... don't recall not having indoor plumbing... have never paid more than $1.59 for a gallon of gas... and I can afford to feed my family quite well on one income so that I can be home with my kids.

Yeah, if you ask me, I'd say we've got it pretty damn good.

LOL! Very selective of you.
Comparing yourself to the regions where terrorists (either sucicide bombers or the ones with military hardware) are rife - or regions lacking in lavatorial technology - well, of course you're going to look good.

Time to evolve. Crawl down out of the trees and join the civilised world or die as the redneck you were at birth.

Ok then, enlighten me oh great one. Just how much better is it in say.... France? Ireland? England? Canada? Australia?

Is health care better when everyone is insured? Or is it just cheaper? Is being 'poor' (and we'll use poverty level statistics as a definition) in America worse than being 'poor' anywhere else?

Where is this 'civilized world' of which you speak? I'm curious about the statistics there. Explain to me why it's 'better' and why I should hope to evolve enough that I could join such a civilization.

Oh, and your terminology is wrong. It's po white trash, not redneck.
