I recently bought a stack of old National Geographic magazines from a thrift store. I have 15 issues from May 1937 - August 1947. I was inspired to write a story about guys remembering all the topless "native girls" in the magazine as they were growing up.
But when I read through the magazines, only one featured that kind of photograph. Have I been mislead? Was jacking off to the pictures in National Geographic another urban myth? Are my magazines too old? Did the editors give up the "nudie" photos as part of the war effort?
Any ideas?
