The National Enquirer, that bastion of solid, in depth reporting of aliens impregnating women, Elvis's home on Mars, and Sasquatch walking among us, has apparently been trying to extort Jeff Bezos. Why, you ask?

The Enquirer had posted a series of stolen photos which Bezos had sent to his then mistress. Bezos wasn't happy, obviously, and started an investigation into the release for possible political motivations. It should also be noted Bezos owns The Washington Post, a real media source which routinely uncovers the endemic corruption and malfeasance of the con artist and members of his administration.

"In the AMI letters I'm making public, you will see the precise details of their extortionate proposal: They will publish the personal photos unless Gavin de Becker and I make the specific false public statement to the press that we 'have no knowledge or basis for suggesting that AMI's coverage was politically motivated or influenced by political forces,'"

Bezos said he had enlisted de Becker "to learn how those texts were obtained, and to determine the motives for the many unusual actions taken by the Enquirer." Bezos also shared a series of emails that he says backs up his contention that AMI offered not to publish more photos if he dropped his investigation of the company's political motivations.

It should be remembered the Enquirer's owner is a close buddy of the corrupt con artist and as such, buried multiple stories during the 2016 election of women the con artist had affairs with to protect his buddy.

Someone's going to be changing their cell phone number - if they haven't already.

This is really funny. Never thought I would side with the Enquirer. This Amazon Washington Post guy is behind the "1984" style of spying on people. And then he does something stupid and gets his panties (sorry he wasn't wearing any) in a bunch at someone doing what he created and does.

Actually I'm against both sides. First off the people deserve their private lives. What they do as long as no one gets hurt is their own business. Spying on people like with the computers that you talk to run things in your house and the security systems you buy thinking they are helping you not using you is wrong. This country got carried away after 911 with over security of spying on their own people.

People like the head of Amazon are criminal in their stealing the private freedoms of the citizens and the Enquirer is a perfect example of the monster his kind has created.

Two or more wrongs do not make a right.

It took you more than a paragraph to realize what your position on this would need to be to have any consistency in your claimed dogma.

I didn't bother to read any further. You're just being a Trumpette.
