NASCAR sucks.

Discuss while I go get some lunch.

Agreed....it's not a sport it's pretty damn boring and it really isn't exciting to me....I think the only reason people attend is for the the license to get drunk...

I never really understood the attraction, but different strokes.......

My roommate has been two every NASCAR race in Richmond since he was 18 months old but one. He missed it this year caues his Multi Var calc exam was on the same night. He was devistated.

NASCAR sucks more than humanly possible, in my humble opinion. I live in the south and it never ceases to amaze me at how worked up people get over fat men driving in circles--what talent does that take? I could drive down to the local WalMart and see the same thing for free. Plus, it chaps my ass at how much those guys get paid. I'm a big AMA Superbike fan--those guys do 200 mph on a motorcycle with nothing between them and the ground with nothing to protect them but leather and knee pucks--talk about balls!!;) Their average pay for winning a race? $7500--which is piss poor when I hear that the guy that drives the Viagramobile made millions for his last win....have I ranted enough yet??:p

Worst form of racing.

Hell, if I'm watching anything that lasts longer than 15 seconds, it's LeMans or rally racing.

Straight track, please, quarter mile only.

Yep, but neither one of us believes in monotony, er, I mean monogamy.

;)

A very good policy to have. Who wants frosted flakes for breakfast every morning now matter how much you like them.

It's really not that bad when you consider the risk involved, the physical stamina needed, multiple variables (track conditions, weather, etc.).

Just my opinion.

BTW: Jeff Gordon, though he is from my home-state, is a big crybaby.

JMO.

I hate NASCAR. I hate it. It sucks. It sucks a lot. It sucks so much that it overcomes my natural wit and defies me to find anything that sucks even a smidgen in comparison to it. I would rather get hit with an upside down helicopter than watch NASCAR.

What's your point? This sounds like my morning commute and I dont' have a big pay check waiting for me. :)

I'm with Silverlily--NHRA all the way!
I'm a top fuel girl.Gimme Force or the Snake's team anyday.None of this round and round 'til we're dizzy. That's as boring as watching grown men run out the clock every Sunday afternoon!

I don't want to bag on anyone's form of entertainment. I grew up with it. Thursday night, Olympic race track, quarter-mile dirt, midgets (and the only thing I liked, the figure 8!). Friday night Lakeside, half-mile dirt track. Saturday night, Odessa, mile, asphalt. Paid my dues. Don't care to see any more.

Oh yeah. Once or twice a year to Heartland in Topeka to watch the drag races...

Then there were the drag races at Liberty Memorial...
