Same here. I was alive for the Nixon & Carter eras being in the single digit age range, but wasn't actually cognizant of the social impact of a FLOTUS until Nancy Reagan. And the '80s were my pre-teen & teen years, so the Reagan era shaped a lot of my formative world. Much like Roger Moore defined James Bond for me, Nancy defined First Lady.

Kinda sad when anyone dies really but she lived into her nineties so fuck it, I don't feel bad. It would be great to know she had some young stud fuck her up and that's why she had heart failure. Still, r.i.p.
