What names do you like to call your sub/ what names do you like to be called?

Aside from a couple flings who are curious, I've only had one loyal sub and that was my ex. But I'm 22 and have a lot to experience. I normally just say "slave" or insult them. Should I be saying something else? I came here to learn about BDSM but it doesn't seem to be that kinda place...

I love it when he calls me "greedy slut" with that particular chuckle. :rose: At my age I rather like it when he calls me "girl" too.

One of The Men™ always called me "sugar"; the other tended to call me dear or sweetheart, but my favorite was always "precious".

One of them was "little one" while another was "love". I do use "girl" a lot. Thinking of a special name for that sub is fun and I really enjoy it.

Be more specific with "insult them". How do you insult subs?
Thanks for participating in the thread.
The more the merrier :cattail:

I have a sub who particularly enjoys being called 'boy toy' or any variation of the words 'boy' and/or 'toy'. Cum slut is a common one I use on occasion, also greedy (pain) slut is my personal favorite. I wonder if anyone has ever been called a pussy addict or cock addict....Of course Sex Addicts are exempt from this category.

I like being called all kinds of things. Cumslut. Dirty whore. Bitch... and then gentler terms: Mine, baby girl, love..

99.99% of the time he calls me by my name or by one of my myriad nicknames. Thank you parents for giving me a long ass name that people like to twist into all sorts of things. When he's joking around he calls me honey.

There's one particular humiliating sexy-funtimes word that he uses that gets me going, but I don't know how to even begin to translate it. It's not used often though, so that's why it still holds the power, I guess. In general attempts at humiliation by calling me silly things that I'm not (such as slut or whore) just bore me, but this one word works.

ETA, a little cultural fact:
We don't really use names here all that much, so we don't usually address the person we talk to by their name unless there's a chance of a mix up.

There is no should as you might see from the variety of answers.

Sometimes I get called kitty or some variation of pet. But like I said in the other thread, we mostly just use the gibberish pet names.

I would really love for him to call me "kid" in-scene someday, though, but I think it squicks him out so no go. *^*

I've never encountered a submissive partner who hadn't already been given a name by her parents. Those seem to work well as they're particularly well ingrained.

Unfortunately, typing out an encyclopedia every time someone asks gets tiring after a while... so that's what the Library is for. :V

When we do a session, I call her "sexy", "masochist" and "slave", and I make her address herself as "slave" at all times during play. These words make her feel wonderfully naughty, and just makes the whole scene so much more intense.

I wish the word was more easily translated.

I have a preference for my name as how it sounds in someone's mouth says so much about who I am to them. I like the honesty I find there.

That said, I also have a growing affection for given nicknames that feel like reading a preface to something coming or are loaded up with meaning like a poem. I have been suprised by how much I have liked or struggled with names depending on who is saying it and how it is said. I also like the secrets that can be safely tucked into them. I really don't like choosing them though.

I read an exploration of nick names for a submissive once that has stayed with me. While tripping through names about belonging that were sublte enough for public casual use and yet clearly privately explicit they landed on Mina. It's a pretty sounding name that I think suited them both. I liked it.

Thanks for sharing Curious in Cali :)
