Especially when there's a scene playing in your mind, trying to come out, but it needs names to go with the characters.

Well, if you already have some concept of what you want to call them, noone elses names are going to sound good :p

I like Rump's choices *chuckle*

I normally just make up my names, like Anyin and Ayrin.. they're twins in a short story of mine.

Names are difficult because you have to match them with the characters' personalities. Naming them is one of the first things I do on projects.

Exactly!!

i have the first one just because... well, it's a less important character, but the other is giving me fits.

usually, if im stuck on a name, i google ethnic names...greek, irish...ect.
i want the names to have meaning. sometimes i can write a story based on a name. tres cool...give it a whirl.

It was kind of the plan to use two Irish names. Just doesn't seem to be working that way.

Ah well. They'll come to me eventually.

Kieran!

Seldom a problem for me, but it occasionally happens. Naming sites definitely help.
