About twenty minutes ago Kyle Perkins had been reading a comic book in the front room of the family cabin in the woods when something that looked like a freaking fireball fell from the sky and crashed out in the woods! Without thinking he'd sprang to his feet, grabbing the old timey gas lantern that hung from the wooden cross beam of the little cabin and raced out the front door to go explore.
Now he was trudging through the woods, looking for where the ball of fire had crashed. "What the hell am I doing" He wondered. "Shit like this NEVER turns out well..." He told himself even as he stumbled upon the spot where the fire had landed. "Holy shit!" He whispered in shock. The crash had taken out several trees and left the ground around it scorched to a cinder! In the middle of it all was some sort of shiny metal capsule...
It took every bit of Kyles will and courage to keep from running the fuck away. He'd been raised on stuff like The Twilight Zone and comic books, so he instantly thought. "Alien?" He whispered to himself, forcing himself to take a step toward the capsule. It was like something out of Star Trek, like some sort of probe or a one man pod.
Without warning it let out a hiss and cracked open, a puff of bluish white vapor curled out from within. Kyle jumped back, nearly dropping the lantern as a set of hands slipped out from inside the capsule! Hands! He nearly peed himself!
