Named storm #6 - Frances

Depending where the low near the FL/GA border goes, it may be the Carolinas being visted this time.

The computer models will get more accurate next week. But something to realize is there now.

Well, good. All the maps updated without me having to post again. Save some database space that way.

I'm rather not take the chance. Charlie was enough of a bitch. I don't wanna see one of these things pissed off.

yes, yes. very glad only get atlantic storms. Way too much warm water in the pacific.

thank God i live in ohio all we have to put up with here are tornadoes and snow

If you didn't notice from the NOAA map, Frances has reached hurricane status.

I heard we are suppose to have about 10 this year?? has anyone else heard a #

I bit this one nails the Carolinas fairly good around Friday of next week?? maybe even sooner?

Another one? When/where is this one supposed to hit?

Guess-a-mating from the NOAA map, I'd say it is 9 to 10 days out from the east coast of the US.

Gatsby and I are bringing the cats and headed to your house for cover, if this one heads out way. :D

I suspect we won't have a decent idea where Frances is going until next Thursday or Friday.

That's a loooooong way to run! :) I wouldn't blame you though and you'd be welcome.

The cats might not like the dog that looks at them and drools though. One of mine is getting use to it, but the other still lives her life in fear of being eaten.

Storm

The ground is so saturated there would be widespread flooding if it hits Central Florida.

As if we haven't had enough fun!

yup. I've seen flood warnings for Polk county every night it has rained since Charlie. If Frances hits central FL, just have to hope it is another fast mover and doesn't get a chance to drop alot of rain.

no way out

bad huricanes and bad women...............

if they have there eye on ya ........they give you one hell of a blow and then take everything you have!
