dont be so sure... i betcha there is some cult out there that worships barney as a diety.

we can have a whole discussion on psychology on the basis of analysing subconscious symbols and how they can be aplied to link barney to lets say jesus for one :D

to quote denzel from one of his movies...
"king kong aint got nothing on me... " :D

plus if you refer to your self as evil your already using a concept seeped in religion for its origins. :D

Am I Evil....yes I am...to someone out there anyway. Such concepts being in some ways, a matter of perception and degree.

"diety" is that like a lightweight deity then?
someone with fewer worshippers?

BUT , it didn't start with religion . It's in many facets of life.

again... a religion based conceptual statement :D

Actually in part it was stolen lyric.

so you are suggesting that Evil is a concept created by the religious?

That it does not truy exist outside this manmade contrivance?

really... how many closet faggots can you name that locked them selves in monasteries to write up the bible... and to molest little kids.
i know it didnt start there ... but it can be linked to religion :D

plus i betcha that within the advent of "civilized" society we can find someone making a religious excuse for his/her abuse of children over the amount of power that may have made hi/her feel.
but then again i thnk back in those days most of the people like that were hacked up in to little pieces and fed to the dogs.

a bad chain saw cut.

a chainsaw... a psychotic tard carrying a chansaw... someone who is percieved as evil by others... evil as such is a religious concept.

need i say more :D

mmm i like building false analogies and strawmen etc :D

Can't say as I'd argue that such concepts are man made, but not sure I can float with it all being based from a religious standpoint.

I'm sure such ideas where around before such belief systems came into power.

After all it is human to wish symmetry from the world. The idea of balance. So black/white...good/bad...etc. Not necessarily due to some belief in a possibly non existant deity. But more so due to a need for there to be two sides to one whole, one as a counterweight to the other. Like two eyes, two ears, etc. Symmetry, not religion.

JMHO

one does not have to believe in a diety to have a religion :D persay...
evil and good are as concepts adaptations of positive and negative...
when taken in the context of human interaction to some it makes more sence to call a person Evil on the basis of their action rather than a negatively contributing member of society.
Evils as a concept in modern times can be linked to a vast majority of religious doctorlines and their supposed histories/ origins. not necessarily for the meaning of the word but rather just for their aplication.

Then it falls to how one defines religion. Many would say that certain Western belief systems are actually philosphy v.s a religion based on the fact there is not a diety invovled.

So it becomes a discourse on semantics.

pretty much :D

its all about the perversion of definitions :D which will allov a person to draw up links and connection from almost anything with almost anything :D
