Hey guys I think it would be great if we give Laurel a selection of our favorite names appropriate for her babies.
For myself I have always been partial to Roger and Racheal. But then as I thought about it a number of names came to mind. So here is my top ten.

Cheese & Macaroni

Scout & Sprouts

Cherry & Larry

Belly & Buster

Prozac & Xanax

Kama & Sutra

Jody & Mr French

Ben & Jerry

Tic & Tac

Hardhat & Fedora

Okay you guys not very orginal but hey come up some better ones.

But, if not, then Haec & Hoc.

Cleopatra had a Greek heritage yes but she was also an Egyptian ruler!! Antony was one of her many lovers!!


And Nefertiti thats who i couldnt think of !!!! i sat her trying to think of her damn name!!!

Cleopatra was "ruler" of Egypt, but it was well into the process of becoming a Roman client state. Her brother/husband, Ptolemy, was incredibly weak and the
Romans pushed him to the fore; for one thing, they were very patriarchal and didn't really believe in a woman's ability to rule. For another, Ptolemy was much easier to deal with.

The Greeks adopted the Egyptian model of brother/sister marriage in an effort to recapture the ideal of the Old Kingdom. As usual, that kind of reconstruction was not a good idea.

When I heard about the toroise dance from the video, Fred and Ginger leaped to mind.

Didn't The Turtles become Flo and Eddie? Who cares that they were both guys, Flo can work for a girlie.

If you like the modern Egyptology, you could go for Gamal and Golda. That would last for about 6 days.

If Scooter is the girl, then you could have Scooter and Kermit.

Why not run for the whole oxymoron thing? Like Speed and Racer? Or has that been overdone?

I like to name my critters after mythology. Had a pitbull named Clio, a hamsters named Cassandra and Persephone (Cassandra later became the Flying Britches of Thunder and Persephone became that miserable fucking rat I'm gonna nueter his happy lil fucking ass)

My son's suggestion is Godzilla and Gidrah, but not King Gidorah cause he's the bad guy, he went on in this vein for three hours. I lost my duct tape. Blastiose and Squirtle were later suggested, once I showed him what a turtle looks like in a book. Pokemon strikes again!

Rocky and Bullwinkle are taken though, those are my mutts. Anyone know if Bullwinkle had a girlfriend? I need something to name the female we're getting.

Six Day War it was. June 5-10, 1967. Had a helluva party on day seven though : )

I'll stick with Bouncin' Betty and umm...Claymore, since ya always gotta watch where ya step when they're out and about.

Fix + Foxy (Yes - I am THAT old, for those who don't know them, they were smartass cartoon characters)

Tom + Jerry (Ok - not very witty - so sue me *g*)

Jekyll + Hide

Bonny + Clyde

Dick + Doof (the German title of the Laurel+Hardy movies)

I am sure I'll be coming up with a few more *lol* such as Bread+Butter, Whips+Chains .. no wait .. that was something else :D ....

Natasha is a distinct thought... definately.

On a completely unrelated note... near my husband person thing's home (relatively speaking he's an army brat) town in Kansas they pulled out a giant snapping turtle from the creek (pronounced crick). They baited the hook on a tow truck with five chickens (morons thought it was a catfish ha!) and it took three trucks to pull it out cause they burned up the transmission in the first one. Once it was out they killed it (shame!!!!!!!!!) and it didn't fit in a pickup bed. Fish and game noticed the giant boozefest and turtle soup party going on and took a look. They were summarily fined and the owners of the trucks jailed. Its against the law to kill it on a game preserve, if they'd taken it down river about 50 feet, they wouldn't have had a problem. My uncle swears this is a true story, but he's fond of the squeezins so it's no doubt been exaggerated a skosh.
