Name for the McKayla Maroney face?

Your link is buggered. The domain has been transformed into a string of gibberish. Probably a censored site.

I think it's her "why do I bother with these two idiots?" look.

Perturbed? Quizzical? Vexed?

Quizzically vexed?

I dunno, I overuse "vexed." I should swear it off and be an anti-vexxer.

Maybe it's Maroney McKaylaFace.

I'd say that she screwed her mouth to the side without rolling her eyes.

McKayla Maroney was a gymnast in the previous olypmics. Just saw her doing an insurance commercial, where she makes her 'not impressed/annoyed' face. Any idea what that face is called? Not a pout, scrunch seems too generic.

Exasperated

Def: intensely irritated and frustrated.

That's the emotional content (imo). As for a way to describe the facial expression? "Side scowl"?

The girl wore a sour lemon smirk, her arms folded, unimpressed with the his efforts. If a glance might kill or thrill, this one was a dagger to his heart.

Wry fucked offedness. She's halfway between "whatever" and "really?" Her eyes don't care.

Great imagery.

Thanks, I have a variation of that in a story I'm working on for here right now. A woman's bf gets in a fight with some redneck's because they disapprove him dating a black girl. And after the fight, thinking he has impressed her with his skill, and his defending their relationship, she shoots him "the look."

It was a fairly big meme for awhile, so just calling it a "McKayla's Not Impressed" face would convey her facial description, body language & overall demeanor.

To people familiar with the meme, which is going to leave a lot of readers confused.

In the course of trying to find a description, I've seen photos of other women before McKayla making a similar face. It isn't unique to her, but she used it very well.

You can speculate a lot about what it means, but that doesn't describe what she did. I'll stick with "She screwed her mouth to the side and didn't roll her eyes."
