Naive housewife accidentally becomes dominatrix

So this idea is loosely based on a time where I was on a bdsm forum/matchmaking forum. We had one member who really did not fit in but not in the toxic way…she just was this older woman who was looking to make friends. She was nice just had no interest in anything going on in the forum or BDSM other than making friends.

So what about a story where a housewife joins a community forum but doesn’t quite get what she’s involved herself in. Though through her nurturing personality as well as her curiosity, she becomes quite the experienced dominatrix.

Not quite sure how to make her naivety work. I was thinking that maybe she thinks it’s performance art or a strange type of therapy so she thinks she’s helping them or expressing her artistry through the sessions. Since she’s really east to talk to she’s able to easily gain people’s trust so even when they figure out she hasn’t known what she’s doing they don’t mind.

For example, when she ties someone up, she does it in an extremely elaborate way with lots of decoration or when she meets someone who wants to be beaten with canes or verbally abused, she thinks it’s a type of therapy.

Maybe she discovers that she really likes it without fully understanding what "it" is?

Perhaps things she reads in the forum have a subtle subliminal effect on her, and one evening after dinner she (not fully conscious of what she's doing?) tells her husband to clean off the table and do the dishes, and when he's finished he may rub her feet as she watches her favorite television show. And that awakens something submissive in the husband.

Next day she shares with the people in the forum and finds one or more friends who want to nurture and tutor the budding Domme in her.

It seems like she wouldn't turn into hardcore sadist overnight, but would evolve slowly as she and her husband experiment with that turns them on.

(If it were my story she would eventually lose all respect for him as a man and he would become nothing to her but a houseboy or something to that effect, but it's not my story, so do what you want with it, but feel free to bounce other ideas off me if you like.)
