I put a mermaid story in Sci-Fi and Fantasy. It ran very well indeed......would these count as bestiality or simply as NonHuman? I'm inclined to think either NonHuman or Fantasy.
I wasn't either. It makes a lot of sense when you think about it, but somehow it wasn't occurred to me that the underlying issue why bestiality is unacceptable is consent, or rather genuine consent impossibility, and nothing to do with anatomy of the act itself.
