.....would these count as bestiality or simply as NonHuman? I'm inclined to think either NonHuman or Fantasy.

In my understanding only real world animals in real world setting, depicted realistically, would fall under prohibition on bestiality.
Generally, mythical creatures of any kind should be safe.

From what I have read alien giant spider, that can also transform into a girl sometimes, is acceptable in a sex scene even if she does not. Aliens at large are OK, with tentacles or without. Monster girls looking whatever are free game for certain. I think I have seen werewolves having sex, but while I think they were already in wolf forms in at least one scene, it wasn't described too furry or with unmistakably doggy anatomy details. I suppose, doing very detailed werewolf on a human girl might probably be testing the limits a bit too closely, and even if such goes try, some triggered reader may report.

Some mermaids I have seen very human, especially when shape-shifting, while others are almost human all the time. At least once have been surprised by very non-human mermaids: double row of sharp teeth, split tongue, fins and scales everywhere, but still nice, albeit blue tits. I have read an argument on how orientation of the tail fin is distinctive feature between two radically different mermaid families descending from different ancestors. And yes, that blue one had it vertically.

I believe mermaids of any variety should definitely be acceptable, and fall either in fantasy or non-human depending on overall setting, with evolution pach you choose, and how prominently you display the differences from baseline homo.

Centaurs may possibly be a little bit more tricky, I would recommend some care to not overdo what probably shouldn't be, but don't think there too much of such a risk. Although those high school boys, transformed by nanites into centaurs with all three dicks (horse where it belongs, human between front legs, and additional one as a saddle for the riding girl on the spine, foldable in a flesh pocket) I encountered on some other site. But a very nicely detailed unicorn girl was right here, in monster girl story though, so that's that, and I don't recall did they get into full out sex, but the expectations was there certainly. Still I doubt you can run in trouble with them.

I have a mermaid story on this site that nobody had a problem with.

: You rang?

There are plenty of stories on Literotica where the impossible frolics.

It seems Literotica uses the three-pronged Jack Harkness test, much to its credit.

Not familiar with this test. Intriguing.

I wasn't either. It makes a lot of sense when you think about it, but somehow it wasn't occurred to me that the underlying issue why bestiality is unacceptable is consent, or rather genuine consent impossibility, and nothing to do with anatomy of the act itself.

I’m not sure why it’s a Biblical no-no, but nowadays a frequently moral/ethical objection to bestiality is “cruelty to animals,” and consent plays a key role.

And it’s also where lightning-attack Pokémon come from.

There are quite a few stories on Literotica that don't fit those rules, though; see e.g. "Attack of the Sand Squid".

This is a pretty good argument for why bestiality is unethical IRL, but Literotica accepts nonconsent stories involving humans and indeed nonhumans, so it probably doesn't explain the story rules here.
